Your information, plainly explained.

The emerging-artist form collects your email address, artist name, real name, Instagram profile, music page, and Indian WhatsApp number. It also records your eligibility and consent declarations, the signup source, and the time you submitted the form.

We use this profile to send occasional open calls and selective artist opportunities by email and WhatsApp, and to understand who may be relevant for direct artist outreach. We do not add artist profiles to the weekly events newsletter unless that person subscribes to it separately.

The weekly-newsletter form collects your email address so BangaloreScene can send the weekly shortlist. Newsletter and artist-list subscriptions are separate.

Brevo processes and stores newsletter and artist-list contacts for BangaloreScene. The editorial database does not store these addresses or artist profiles. Both email flows use double opt-in, so a subscription is active only after the email address is confirmed.

You can unsubscribe from emails through the link in any message and stop WhatsApp updates through the opt-out instructions in those messages. Unsubscribing suppresses future updates, while the contact profile may remain in Brevo for suppression and artist-network context.

To ask for a copy, correction, or deletion of your profile, email yo@bangalorescene.xyz. A deletion request removes the profile except for information that must be retained to honour an opt-out or legal obligation.

BangaloreScene uses Umami to measure public discovery and signup outcomes on the production site. Analytics events never contain submitted email addresses, names, phone numbers, social handles, music links, consent timestamps, or raw provider errors.
